God placed this project in my heart in December 2021, after my Christmas visit in St. Mary. Having learnt of my grandmother’s amazing story, I published a book to honor her and give hope to others through her story.
In August, we had a grand celebration dubbed “The Legacy Fest” and honored her. Prior to this event, I had begun the construction project in March 2022, to give her an indoor bathroom and kitchen.
I was hoping to finish by Summer 2022 but had some setbacks which stalled the project.
I am grateful to all who contributed thus far. Our God is the God of the finished work (Phil. 1:6) and we believe, God willing, that by Grandma’s next birthday (her 88th) we can accomplish this mission and give her a birthday gift to remember.
