Catalysts for Change
Dr Zenas Gerig was a prime mover in theological education in the Caribbean.
After five decades, the government of Jamaica recognized his contribution and awarded him one of the nation’s highest awards on National Heroes Day in 2001. He and his wife worked together to establish the Jamaica Theological Seminary (JTS) and the Caribbean Graduate School of Theology (CGST).
Mrs. Patricia Eves McKenzie
The late, Mrs. Patricia Eves McKenzie was a renowned Jamaican Christian educator and counsellor par excellence. She did the M.A in Counselling Psychology program. In October 2018, the government of Jamaica honoured her by awarding her the Prime Minister’s Medal of Appreciation. She was the head counsellor at the University of Technology (UTECH) in Jamaica
Dr. Delano Palmer
One of the First Graduates of CGST
Dr. Delano Palmer is one of the first graduates of CGST and the valedictorian of that batch. He is an author, New Testament scholar, former Deputy Vice President of the Jamaica Theological Seminary, adjunct lecturer at CGST and former scholar in residence.
